A hybrid rose called "Teasing Georgia" from Huntington Gardens Rose Collection. This rose carries a nice scent. The original was photographed in very bright overhead sunlight, therefore the resulting image had washed out highlights. To correct that problem, I reduced the brightness to about -40 and increased the contrast just a bit (+5) in Photoshop. I cleared the left hand portion of traces of greens by brushing in with a pure black 400-pixel anti-aliased brush which significantly produced a minor highlight of the two rose buds. Finally, for fun I added two fake dewdrops using the smudge and brush tools.
