Lake Murray is located outside Ardmore Ok. It is one of 7 lakes in Ok. that is a state park. Lake Murray was built by the Gov. in 1934 to 1938. 16000 men worked on this lake and I am proud to say that my step Grandfather was one of them. In his younger days he told stories of building this lake and the troubles they gave their poor Lieutenant. It is a beautiful place for any kind of family fun.
