I made a trip to Phantom Canyon this weekend. I discovered it about 5 years ago when I was doing the Canon City Co. store. It starts at about 55oo feet and ends at about 9500 feet. It is the route that the gold trains used to travel and is just about the prettiest 27 miles you will ever travel. To learn more about it click here.
