This is New Brighton found on the northern tip of the Wirral Peninsular opposite Liverpool. It is a beautiful, but faded, Victorian seaside town. In its heyday it attracted tens of thousands of visitors to its Tower and its Ballroom and to its huge outdoor swimming pool. Alas, those days are long gone.
