Last Saturday (22nd August) was a wonderful day. The sun shone all day, even though it had rained for several days beforehand, and it was the day my niece Ros married Tom. The ceremony took place in her parents' back garden as did the drinking of much Champagne and Pimm's afterwards. There was a great jazz band playing most of the afternoon but even the best of musicians need a rest.
