This is The River Mersey at low-tide. This image was taken about 3 miles from the mouth of the river looking south-east inland towards the widest part of the estuary.I was very taken by this abandoned little boat, stuck in the mud and obviously covered by water at every high-tide, once it had a purpose and was loved - not any more.
