Thousands of people gathered on the flight line at Westover while they awaited the Thunderbirds. More than 250,000 people attended the Great New England Air Show Sept. 7. Unfortunately I had to leave before the Thunderbirds : ( The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds performed at The Great New England Air Show at Westover ARB, Sept. 6-7. The aerial demonstration team flew the F-16C fighter jet. Also featured during the air show was the U.S. Navy's F-18 aerial demonstration team, the U.S. Air Force Academy's Glider team, the U.S. Army's Golden Knights Parachute team as well as fly overs by various other aircraft.
