I've never seen a bridge made like this one, found on the Illinois and Michigan Canal rail trail in Illinois. The laminations are beautiful and it appears the bridge gets its strength from the wood boards being kept in a bowed shape. If the designer intended a structure to look as natural as possible, I think he/she succeeded.
