This part of the Flushing Sea Front has the name 'Boulevard de Ruyter'. At this 'boulevard' de 'Gevangentoren' (Prison Tower), built in the 16th century as part of Flushing's fortification, can be seen. People of Flushing call this tower 'De bomvrije toren' (the bomb free tower). Nowadays it's a restaurant.
