The story goes that the famous Dutch, in Flushing born, admiral Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter (1607 - 1676) in his youth climbed into this tower. Only by 'performing' neck breaking stunts he could come back at ground level again. Therefore I put the title of this image ('Michiel's Tower') between inverted comma's as the official name of that tower is Saint-Jacobstower.
