Today I've started a new series, called 'Zeeland Folkore'. This series, consisting of various images, will show you some traditional customs still in use (and cherised) by Zeeland people. This image shows a little boy wearing traditional farmer clothes and wooden shoes and it's taken on the occasion of a yearly gig ride. He's waiting for the gig to come as he will take place at the backseat of the gig while his parents (in traditional clothes as well) are sitting at the front seat. Hope you'll enjoy this series.
