This is the 'Seismolen', which can be found in Middelburg, The Netherlands, at the 'Seisbolwerk' ('Bolwerk' is a kind of fortification). The mill was built in 1728 and was used to grind wheat. Nowadays the mill is only active from time to time in order to prevent damage, but is no longer in use for commercial purposes. This image was captured last Saturday (February, 9th) when the sails were turning. It's really a pity you can't see this turning and hear the mighty sound of the sails every time they are passing by.
