I've explained it before, but for the people who may have missed this explanation, I'll repeat it again: a polder is a low-lying (below sea-level) tract of land, reclaimed from the sea, and enclosed by embankments known as dikes. Because it's reclaimed from the sea, it's flat as flat can be, lol. This image is captured in one of the polders of the peninsula South Beveland, Zeeland, the Netherlands.
