This image belongs to a series of photographs that were taken by me on the occasion of a contemporary art festival held in 2017 (July, 14th till November, 5th) in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The festival was called 'Facade'.

If you check-out this link you'll see a map. The depicted contemporary artwork is # 06 of this map.

Further details (provided by the festival-organization):

The statues that the Dutch artist Henk Visch (Eindhoven, 1950) makes of human figures are immediately recognizable. They are nearly always cast in bronze and in sizes that stimulate multiple sensory perception. More than just portraying a person we are reminded here of a body. Everything about his statues makes us experience them through our senses. We feel the physicality of the story. Familiar and at the same time alienating, almost like poetry. On a lower lying square at the Nieuwe Burg, in the shelter of the church and surrounding buildings, is 'Das Kino', a 3.60 meters high statue. The glowing eyes make you look inside to where everything seems to be happening. That idea is enhanced by the intimate and dramatic atmosphere of the square.
