The brandnew aluminum jet driven pilot tender 'Lucida' (probably performing sea-trials now) is a Dutch pilot tender of the new L-class. These class of tenders are very maneuverable (one can see on this image that they are able to turn around their own axis). They are used for embarkation and disembarkation and for a safe and smooth transport of pilots to and from seagoing vessels.
