This image was taken near Kinderdijk, a village in the province of South-Holland, The Netherlands.

The traditional windmill at the left and the one in the middle are grinding now. This can be seen by the different position of the mill blades and the attached sails on them. The traditional windmill on the right is maintained now. This can be seen by the scaffolding and an already renewed thatched side wall (the yellow part). The mills were built in 1738 until 1740, in order to keep water out of the polder.

It's my contribution for the 'three of a kind' contest.
