This image was taken on June 1st, 2019 in Utrecht, a city in the center om my country The Netherlands.

In Dutch cities having canals and universities, like Amsterdam, Delft, Middelburg, Utrecht, and so on, the 'phenomenon' of parked bikes along the fences of the canals, is a common sight, because bikes aren't only cheap, but it's a perfect transportation mean in the narrow streets of these medieval cities, in particular for university students.
