This is the 18th one of my 'Nobility' series. This one was taken on a horse driving event some time ago on the 'Eendracht', a horse riding school in Vrouwenpolder, a village on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
Recently (January 13th, 2020) I've seen in a program of a local broadcast station that the farm, who's owners organised these horse driving events in the past, was sold to a German owner. The new owner however stated that he has no intentions to continue in organising these competitions.
A pity for sure. By checking-out THIS LINK, one can read (only in the Dutch language however) some details. The major part of this information is translated below: "The Eendracht riding school in Vrouwenpolder stops. The new German owner doesn't want to continue the business. For more than 50 horses and ponies a new home must be found and that is not easy. "I have already called to twenty places, but have not found anything yet," said horse owner Martijn Berrevoets."
