Meanwhile we've left the outskirts of Den Helder and are back in town again.

Depicted is the water tower (only available in the Dutch language) downtown Den Helder.

The tower, with a height of 40.15 meters (131.7 feet) was built in 1908. In 1959 the tower was refurbished at got on the outside a concrete cover. In 2005 the tower was refurbished again. The concrete cover disappeared so that the tower got its initial appearance again.
