Depicted is the theater in Ghent, Belgium.

For me this building is another proof that the Belgians have a keen eye for architectural beauty.

The building is crowned by a monumental gable. A mosaic of nine meters wide and four meters high, consisting of 70,000 ceramic stones in 500 different shades, has been incorporated into a round-arched tympanum. It is a mythological scene designed by Constant Montald and depicts Apollo in his sun chariot, accompanied by the nine muses, recognizable by their respective attributes.
