Depicted is at the left side of this image Het Steen, (The Rock), a medieval fortress downtown Antwerp, Belgium.

At the center: the Helvetia House, a monumental office building in neo-Gothic and neo-traditional style, on the corner of Jordaenskaai (Jordaens Quay) and Vleeshuisstraat (Meat House Street), built in 1904.

At the right: the Natiënhuis (Nations House), a monumental office building in neo-Gothic and neo-traditional style too. The building was constructed in two construction phases between 1904 and 1911, with a final extension in 1946.
