In order to explain what's going on here, I like to refer to the narrative of THIS ONE.

The gig ride event/match took place during the working hours of Thursday July 10th, 2025 (from 09:00 until 17:30), so it was desirable that the participants (inclusive the horses, 😁 ) were able to take a lunch break at noon. For that occasion the (draft)horses became unharnessed from the gig/carriage.

This picture shows that the horses took the opportunity to consume hay during their break. They got fresh water provided in buckets too, the latter isn't visible on this picture however.
