I was sitting on my front porch rocker, camera in hand, waiting for hummers or butterflies when looking through the rails of the logs connecting the pillars that support the porch roof, I spied a pod of a money plant (lunaria). It looked rather like a human face. I tore off a couple of branches of the hydrangea it is keeping company with and took some shots of it. See what you think.

If you peel off the outer covering of these pods when they are completely dry, you end up with a very pretty white floral decoration that looks like This

Funny, but when I look at this now, I can only see the face. I can't see it as a pod anymore.
