This is a display on the first floor of the White Tower called the Line of Kings. This display was first setup in the year 1660 by King Charles II. The horses on display were used at one time to display the horses armour .. Some of the horses on display are said to date back to 1547. The display was to be the first formal ‘museum’ display at the Tower. The Flags above the display have the names of the Kings and below, the armour on display below the flags were brought to the Tower from the palaces of Greenwich and other Royal Palaces from as far back as 1647.
