This little "weed" really surprised me. I let it grow the last two years because the leaves interested me. Suddenly, the other day, I noticed that it was in bloom.

If you know what it is, I'd sure like to know. It is growing in a shaded area under a red oak. I figure anything that blooms in the shade in the middle of winter is something special.
