This copper-nickel Three Ruble coin was struck in 1994 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the wester front against Hitler's Third Reich.
This is the only Russian coin that contains representations of the standards of two foreign nations, the US and the UK. It also contains the standard of the former Soviet Union.
The obverse contains two features of the Kremlin: the Duma and the Troika or Trinity Tower.
