The fellow with the rambunctious horse is no youngster. This Montreal monument commemorates Canadians who fought in the Boer War, South Africa, 1899-1902. The building in the background is The Sunlife Building, the construction of which started in 1913 - finished in 1931. It took a while but, hey, it's a peach of a building. Photo given a very slight 'oil-painting' look to add what I thought might be a touch of class.
