On the way to Florida I stopped at the Savannah, Georgia, Welcome Center and asked where I could find the most picturesque part of the city. I was directed to the historic waterfront. Yes, it was interesting but, since I'm from Montreal which also has a historic waterfront, it wasn't as different and unique as I had hoped - except for the paddle-wheel boats. When I passed this lane I recalled an excellent photographer on Caedes who takes pictures of lanes and decided to emulate him. So here we have, certainly not the most photogenically glamorous shot of Savannah, but an interesting deployment of bricks just the same. I would call your attention particularly to the total absence of snow.
