.....in the shadows of a tree in the grounds of Quarry Bank Mill, Styal in Cheshire UK. The old mill, also known as Greg's Mill, is now a working museum. The mill is an 18th Century cotton mill, powered by a huge water wheel and was owned by Samuel Greg and his family. My grandmother worked here at the mill as a young girl. One of two images I photographed for the Shadows Contest.
