I finally was able to go out shooting this weekend. I went to my favorite spot and low and behold an Osprey was perched. I knew it wasn't going anywhere for awhile so I set up and began my wait for it to fly. After about 40 minutes of waiting it appeared to notice something in the water. Instead of sitting perched with one leg up in the resting position, it began to move its head back and forth as if to triangulate on its target. The head movements began to come quicker and last slightly longer and then....... It dove. Shortly later it flew off with a fish grasped in its talons.
