Watching these huge birds hunt was amazing. They made it look so easy. Unlike the crash and splash of the Osprey, these birds would gently swoop down drag their talons along the surface of the water and pull out a 10" Coho Salmon. It seemed effortless. I am sorry for the quality of the image but the lack of light and distance of the bird took alot of the crispness of the image away. This is an extremely cropped image so the more it is blown up the more it blows out. Oh well?
