I had to buy a new camera a month ago as I dropped my old one. Fortunately it was insured. I wasn't sure what to replace it with as Nikon no longer manufactures its D3S model. After a little research I settled on the D810. It is almost half the price of the D4S so I was worried. I bought the D810 because I wanted sharp resolution at a distance from the subject(36 megapixels) with some of the light sensitivity of the D4S. This image was shot at an ISO of 1000. The f-stop was 11 and the shutter speed was a 1/1000 sec. I think that I made the right decision.
