I am always surprised at the images I get and the ones I don't. One thing about wildlife photography is that you have no control over your subjects. Maybe they are there and maybe not. Maybe they fly in from this direction or maybe the opposite. Maybe it is sunny and maybe..... We did not get to select our viewing spots or I would have been on the other side of the flooded field. So you take what you get and try to learn and adapt the next encounter. Every once and awhile you get lucky; there is light, the birds are there and they come in from the best direction. I hope that you like this one.... Please blow it up to see the image as I intended it.
