So the parent passed the fish to the chick. The chicks are only about 2/3 the size of the parent right now. At first it was more then the chick could handle and it dropped it, disappearing under the water with the parent to retrieve it. The parent popped up with the fish and once again gave it back to the chick, who this time was able to swallow it.
