This Goose came extremely close to extinction !! & I was amazed to read the WWT Slimbridge saved it from the brink in 1950.

This charming, & pretty Goose will very happily share your packed lunch moving so close to you. :o) They're very endearing, & I've often wanted to take one home with me when leaving WWT Slimbridge.

You must check out the story on Wikipedia it's such a great local success story for me. :o) :o)

Please note they still remain very rare, & there's no certainty there'll comfortably re-establish themselves in Hawaii. Perhaps they could even end up successfully establishing themselves somewhere else like Olde Blighty. :o)
