This is an industrial plant in Avonmouth where Carbon black is produced a vital ingredient for products like tyres, & rubber on windscreen wipers etc.

This plant simply uses oil as a raw input ingredient, & any air pollutants produced are very heavily filtered out whilst the only other bi product in the production process is gas. This gas is used to fire the ovens which produce the product, & additional gas is fed into generators which provide the plant with electricity. Apparently they even have a surplus of energy at times which is fed back into the national electricity grid. :o)
