This Bewick Swan is a very strict vegetation, & even refused bread from me !! The background vegetation may look pretty but it's all essential food to this bird, & other wildlife, playing an important role in natures delicate food chain. :o) The WWT goes to great efforts to cater for neglected Waterfowl etc, there's even the prickly Fullers Teasel here, much sort after by the pretty Goldfinch. :o)
