If you ever find yourself nearby, this estate open to the public is definitely worth a stop. Plan your day accordingly, but do plan to see it. The day we were there we took a horse drawn jaunt around the estate, saw a terrific waterfall, explored an abandoned abby, and toured the inside of the house, although they were doing some extensive restoration on the outside that day.
