One of my duties on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) was a M2HB .50cal gunner. This was quite possibly one of my favorite jobs on the boat (it didn't involve a mop) and it provided me with an opportunity to, well, shoot things. I took this picture in-port at Jebel Ali, UAE in Jan 06. The weapon was in Bravo condition (no round chambered) so no risk of accidentally shooting somebody!
