This image was taken in Cholula, Mexico, about two hours drive southeast of Mexico City. The active Popocatepetl volcano last threatened major eruption in December 2000. Taken with my D70s and later converted to black and white and touched up (increased contrast). I didn't know how to get rid of the cloud of ashes to the right of the image...hope it doesn't detract too much from it.
