Here we are at the Hiawatha Highlands / Kinsmen Park here in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontrio on Oct. 06, 2016 (Thursday). This beautiful park is open year round, however, only cross country skiing is allowed between December and March. There is 40 kilometres of trails used in the winter for Nordic skiing over the 3,000 acre wilderness preserve. Hiawatha contains marked, groomed and track-set trails, including one lit trail.
