the lighthouse is in Crescent City, California. In May of 1855, Congress appropriated $15,000 for the construction of a lighthouse on the tiny islet, which is connected to Battery Point by an isthmus at low tide. it is now privately owned. i've heard that agate collectors look all around the base of the lighthouse and find the beautiful stones. thanks in advance for any comments.
