i went to a place called chico creek. the salmon are spawning and are working so hard. this salmon is a chum or dog salmon. the men who caught him put him on the rocks (after removing the hook) so i could take his picture. then he swam off. he has a lot of purple in his coloring. that indicates his age. he was quite large. learning about salmon spawning was really interesting. i thought this stuff just happened in alaska. thanks for any comments.
