Here's a shot I took last year of a ladybug on a Daylily in the front garden. A Ladybug is defined as a small beetle with a domed back, typically red or yellow with black spots. Both the adults and larvae are important predators of aphids. The Ladybug does have a symbolic meaning and is best known as an emblem of luck. When a Ladybug lands on you, it is said your wish will come true. Enjoy and have a great weekend!!!!!!
