Meet Major Wheeler -- Major Wheeler is a variety of red honeysuckle!! Its flower power is unsurpassed in the genus; it is blanketed in bright red, tubular blooms in late spring, and they just keep coming all summer. It�s ideal on a modest trellis or open fence. Hummingbirds adore the nectar, and the bright red berries of fall are popular with songbirds. These honeysuckle were photographed growing at a wild pace on a trellis at one of my favorite neighborhood gardens. Enjoy!!!!
