A view from Blahnukur, Landmannalaugar inland, straight into the heart and highlands of Iceland. 1000m up, as the sun gradually went down (sunsets in Iceland last for hours and hours) I sat, cooked dinner and took photos. It was stunning. This is a small part of a huge view, and an incredible view at that. Fully happy with the shots from the evening, I headed back to camp and the geothermally heated natural pools. A pretty good end to the day I reckon!
