This is a wonderfully carved bed in a medievel house in my town of Conwy. The house itself was built between 1576 and 1585, and most of the furniture in there dates from that time also. This is the Lady's bedroom, she sadly was killed when she fell from the steps of the lookout tower of the house. She was heavily pregnant and was looking out for her husband coming back from a battle. A Dr was called but she died as did the child. The Dr was locked in the room with her, and was terrified when she died. He hid up a chimney, and to this day, his bones have never been found, and his ghost is said to haunt the house.
