Now Ladies and Gentleman we are in the pantry next to the kitchen. I thought I would ease you into here gently as just to our right is where they stored the meat prior to its usage. It always causes some wrinkled noses lol Now this is the view from the first doorway into the corner of the pantry. Dry goods, meand and game are all stored in here. The cabinet closest to us in the doorway is according the lady I asked, a flour bin dating from the 1700's although she wasnt sure. The barrel has wheat in it for the making of flour. You can also see the clean rushes or grass on the floor. Meat was prepared on the table under the window. Robert Wynne had cows on the town fields, so had fresh milk delivered twice a day, orchards and gardens, a barn with sacks of grain and fodder, and a fish trap in the river... this was a very well stocked house!
