Tinian Island WWII - My Dad, Frank W. Warmbier

Veterans Day - This is a tribute to all the veterans of all the wars on this day. THANK YOU all for your pain, sacrifice, courage, and honor in your duty to your country. I would like you to meet my father Frank Walter Warmbier, this picture was taken in roughly 1945 at Tinian Island in the pacific. My dad (second from the right in the light pants) is standing with some of his buddies during his tour of duty in the navy. He died in 1981 of cancer but I just wanted you all to know he was a fine man,husband,and father to all of us 6 kids. This is a very old original photo I just lightened and sharpened it a little because I wanted to keep it's integrity. I would like to thank Russ (heidlerr) for the idea.
