I was aiming for an action shot with motion blur so I used a fairly slow 1/30th shutter while panning. I think I've just about caught the horses eyes perfectly frozen while everything else, muscles and machinary is moving. I was trying to show the power and speed of this animal's work and that of the old peasant too. It's an evening shot with the warm sun casting long shadows. They've still got a fair bit of work ahead before it gets too dark to carry on!
